That got me into The Runaways, a band I knew but never thought much about. But really, in hindsight, what a band. Joan Jett and Lita Ford...it's almost like a girl band super group and they really rocked and had some real punk attitude for as young as they all were. Jackie's story is a disturbing one, but just looking at them as a band at that place and time I think they have now achieved an iconic status. Pretty amazing for a band that was so short lived.
