Jacksonville Beach Area Relocation Music/Culture?

My wife and I are considering a move south to the Jacksonville Beach area within the next year from the Northern Jersey shore. Anyone in the area care to share what the music scene or getting gigs is like down there? I am currently in a dance cover band (corporate/festivals/occasional bars) and an original rock band (bigger shows/festivals/travel gigs). I've found there's a good amount of diversity up here, how's it down there? Thanks for any feedback.
