I have been a Jaco fan for ages, but in periods I drift off to explore other players. But then I found this "beginner guide to Jaco".

A lot of his early stuff, but boy did he make some amazing recordings in 1976!??

Cool to rediscover your old heroes. Guess I better fo dust off some old WR CD's...

Either my old turntable ran really slowly, or the recording of "Havona" on that website is playing back ridiculously fast.

Wow. I didn't know about such an early recording. Found it on YouTube. Only listened to a few snippets and it sounds a little experimental, but will definitely check this out in more depth when I get a chance:

Yep...it is experimental & one of his better recordings.
