I put some roundwounds on it too and I'm still waiting for them to die and give me some more milk chocolate on the tone. Worse comes to worse, Ill put the flats back on it.
The TF is definitely a hotter, barkier sound on the bridge PU, in fact, you wouldn't know it's a P bass soloing the bridge PU.
But I just barely touch it on the bridge PU and notes just pop out of the thing without hardly even trying. I've never owned a P/J, so I'm just really surprised for a Precision bass to sound like this....
