Well, I just ordered one, so wish me luck! Thanks for the tip. Going to be playing a Dingwall D-Roc in drop G# with my metal band, and a Dingwall NG-3 and Ibanez AFR-5 + stingray short scale 4 in some other projects.
Looking to kick darkglass stuff off my board, since I've grown tired of the perceived low end roll off, mid character, and high end "hiss" when you have a fair amount of gained dialed in. I've tried their B7k ultra v3, vintage modern deluxe v2, duality fuzz (that one may go back on the board in front of the capo for extreme fuzz when needed), and am running an alpha Omega photon at the moment that I tried to make my main sound via 3 presets.
Between the Empress bass compressor (ordered to swap my dark glass hyper luminal out for) and source audio eq2 I just ordered + the CAPO that'll hopefully show up sooner than the quoted 4 weeks via reverb, my board is in for quite the shakeup.
Btw has anyone been running the CAPO into an amp, either into the front or via its effects return to basically turn it into a power amp? I have been using a Mesa D800+ subway amp (+ two 1x15" subway cabinets) for jams, shows (DI out of it), and direct recording and am wondering the best way to run the CAPO sound wise, when not recording or going to FOH with its DI
