I went looking around to see of such a thing existed...and it does, sort of.

First, as an April Fools joke:

Very cool! I think it would be even more interesting without the J pup, or better yet with 2 or 3 (total) Mustang pups instead. Oh ya, and a matching headstock.

The impression I get is there is a very small but loyal Jag-Stang community, but I suspect very few of them are bass players.

I'd guess Rosser would offer a bass body if enough folks were interested. I have one of the earliest reissue guitars, so I'm a fan and I'd be in for one based on a standard 34" neck. I think there might be three other people in the world who might be interested...

Jag-Stang Bass Bump

Similar to the Jaguar, Fender should offer it in two ways:

1) Squier 30"-scale
2) Fender 34"-scale

Or vice versa... Squier 34"/Fender 30" — I just want a 34"-scale.

All these years later, I've decided to add a 32"/34" M-Type (Mustang) bass to the portfolio. I'm excited to get this pulled together.
