I love the look and sound of these basses. I really think the P/MM combination would work for me.

I like the sound of P/MM a lot. I can't listen at the moment, but I like that the polepieces on the P are big like on a MM pickup. Does it sound like a traditional P? I guess I'll know when I listen later. I didn't want different size polepieces (or different shapes) on a bass of mine so Carey Nordstrand & crew put the P pickup in a covered MM shell to match the covered MM.
Another benefit of mine is that the MM pickup is more in the traditional sweetspot, unlike this one which seems closer to the bridge. All that sonic stuff aside, the Jake Snowman bass definitely looks the part. I dig the white too!
