So I was busy cutting the bodies for my other builds (both ash bodies) and this hunk of african mahogany that's been sitting in the corner of my workshop for probably a year was looking at me.
So I kind of accidentally started a new build. Based on my new M-shape. It's going to be a 4 string and seeing as the M stands for multiscale it's going to be 34-33 inch scale.
Flammed maple top. Also a first for me is I'm going to have a go at staining this one (paint the body, stain the top).
Going for a slightly Rickenbacker vibe with some of the details, but I'm still working them out.

Love it love it love it. Whenever I see a Rickenesque design on TB, I shed a tear for the '79 4001 in mapleglo that I traded for a 300w Hartke head in 1994 (that subsequently blew up.)
