Jazz Bass build.

Hey, yeah... in retrospect I should have made the cavity much larger... I'm reluctant to put her back under the knife at this point so I'll see how it goes

I'd be willing to help ppl out with what little info I have, but I can't really see myself taking orders at this point...

Anyways, went a little crazy with the belt sander today and shaped the body and started sanding.

The second pic shows my warmoth jazz bass neck with a few coats of Tru-oil on it. So far, I'm loving the stuff! Anyone who's used Tru-oil before have any recommendations on whether or not to use a wax to finish it, if so what kind?

Hey people!

I finally succumbed to throwing this thing together on the weekend! Didn't even give my last thin coat of tru oil time to cure. I simply couldn't wait any longer, haha... finishing drives me crazy, i've found out.

My buddy Dan came by to expedite setup, and we assembled my bass, enjoy the pics!

more pics! I am pretty proud of this beautiful bass! At risk of sounding like a crazy person I will let you know this bass was the first bass I've actually handled, and after going to the music store I'd say it holds up pretty well against the professionally built guitars!

Now to start practising!!!!

hahaha...
