I am collecting info on pattern variations to try and accommodate all versions of the Fender Jazz (4 string) and hopefully the Lakland Jazz.
As ironic as it is - The Jazz I own has no guard!
There seems to be three screw patterns?
The Lakland Jazz basses look (to the casual eye)
to match the one with a screw over the neck pickup
but to one side (neckward). Are Laklands their own thing
or do they conform to Fender dimensions?
That is with regard to 4 strings, not even trying to sort out 5 stringers yet....
If any of you builders/ repairers have some old guards
you want to sell off PM me! I don't need pretty ones,
just ones that are actual Fender /Lakland dimensions.
