I am looking at an American Standard jazz bass v, but I already know that if I get it i will be replacing the pickups asap (i have never heard stock jazz pickups that sound particularly great). I recently found out about the SD Apollo set, and REALLY like demos I have heard so far.
my question is, what size are the stock pickup covers, so i know what size SDs I need to order?
also, are there any other recommendations as far as other pickups that I should check out? thanks in advance.
