I'm looking to purchase a S/H Fender Jazz Bass, it is by my calculations a 1999 model. My question, the scratch plate is one piece plastic going behind the controls and jack socket, not like the the two piece you would normally see ie. Plastic and chromed steel. Does this make this a different model than standard or is it just cosmetic. Thanks, Pete.
