Jeff Berlin?

I'm a belated Jeff fan - I don't agree with everything he says and I don't like all of his music - but he IS an amazing bass player and a very musical guy at heart - I actually wish he would play more band stuff and stop just doing demos all the time - he should put himself in a band context more often - and as he's such an anti-slap guy (I'm starting to sympathise with him believe it or not) those trade shows must be torture - the amount of slap bass is like hearing distant gunfire in a war zone - with a frightning lack of melody - stick at it Jeff!

He does have a band that he plays with all the time. It's his trio with Danny Gottlieb and Richard Drexler

Yeah I have that bookmarked

However the drummer nowadays is Paul Wertico.
Weird. Replaced Danny Gottlieb in the Pat Metheny Group, and now replacing him (I don't know for how long) in the Jeff Berlin Trio..

Makes sense though, because Wertico used to play with Larry Coryell who is very good friends with Jeff Berlin.
