Jeez, it never stops. No complaining from me though!

- Just started producing Young the Giant. Their second record. This will go from now until probably late August.

- Recording with Beck, and I have some gigs in the bay area with him in two weeks.

- Continuing my ongoing collab with School of Seven Bells which is going very well.

- Finishing my work co-producing two songs for The Naked and Famous

- Getting married next month.

I hope I didn't forget anything!

I'm doing an unusual semi-private Beck acoustic gig in SF on Monday 5/20...it's a curated event based on Beck's "Song Reader" project. I'm also playing with him the day before at a small venue in Santa Cruz - this is just Beck, myself, and Roger Manning.

That's about it for now. There will be much more stuff later this year and next year when he's back on a new album cycle.

Nice! Glad to see the work keeps rolling in.

Congrats on getting hitched. I'm getting married next month, too!

There will be musical festivities the night before mine--gettin' the (very) old band back together, and combining my old drummer with a new guy I'm working with. Got lots of practicing to do.

Speaking of Beck, is Matt Sherrod still behind the kit? I really liked his work with Crowded House - the last two records with him on the kit blew my mind. Big (and solemn) boots to fill after the tragic passing of the amazing Paul Hester. I thought Matt was able to bring a similar exhuberance and liveliness to the CH sound that Paul left behind, while still bringing his own ambience, dynamic and flavour. Impressive.

Well done on keeping the work flow happening, and best of luck with the wedding!

The Controlled: Matt's phenomenal, but no: he hasn't done anything with Beck since 2006.

Thanks, rooted. ;) In all seriousness, my fiancee is an absolute gem, and I'm thrilled that she's been a part of my life thus far and will be there for me from here on out. I feel very fortunate indeed.
