I am coming to appreciate how awesome John is as a player. Stealing his stuff from his Artist Transcription book this week.

But....

Am I the only one that thinks the transcriptions were kind of sloppy. I don't think John did the the transcription work.

I love Patitucci's electric stuff. The acoustic band doesn't interest me but his electric stuff is great. His tone with his Ken Smith was incredible and was one of the main drivers for me wanting a Ken Smith of my own.
