Good call. We don't want our comedians doing the same act for 30 years but for some reason that's what too many people expect from rock bands.

Looking forward to this album.

They played in Holland this weekend. Apparently they also did a jam and I was told that JPJ really stood out... We needs vid!

I saw Them Crooked Vultures at the Lowlands festival last weekend. The music itself was heavily influenced by Josh Homme's musical ideas but very good.
JPJ's bass sound was beautiful. Very articulated and had a massive low end. He played a Manson 4 string and 8 string. There was also one song in wich JPJ played the 8 string and the other guitar player played a Hohner bass. Sounded very good and unfortunaly it was recorded but not broadcasted right now. It will be in a couple ofmonths.
If you have the chance to see TCV, do it!!
