I've been having a look for a cheap sixer to pimp out with some new electronics and pickups and at just £177 this -

Looks pretty damn good. Anyone ever played one of these and could comment on the general build quality and suchlike?

I tried one in a store a few times, I found the action a little high for my taste (that can be fixed I'm sure) but itr DEFINITELY needs help in the electronics.

Actually, that sounds like just what I'm looking for... Only problem could be the consistency and quality control especially if I have to order it online... Anyone else got any experience of these?

Never touched one in my life but that sure is sexy for a cheap 6 string, I'd say go for it!

i have one, its great, beautiful flame (green) i got it off ebay for round 300. great active tone. Ive had it since september and its held out pretty well, except one knob came loose but its still a great bass. the pickups came professionally adjusted and perfect height. solid bridge and a tight and thundering B string prob because of the 35'' scale. It has been a blessing to my playing, so id highly reccomend it. Hope that helped
