Joyo ultimate octave or?

Hey guys.

Been looking at this joyo ultimate octave pedal for bass and am beginning to consider purchasing it.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

Alternatively I am considering an mxr el grande, or waiting to hear the new mxr bass fuzz deluxe.

Joyo is cheap and sounds pretty effective, but still not too sure...

What do you think?

the joyo is really cheap and i didn't really have a positive experience with it, poor stiff construction and undefined and not dynamic tone, i knew it wouldn't sound as good as my mesa d180 head or my wmd bass mod geiger counter, but i thought it would be more usable, i use it for mid cut goofing around in my house with my pignose amp, but that's it

the best thing about it was the green color and the cool ram silkscreen

No love for the joyo?

Maybe I should wait to hear the mxr bass fuzz deluxe.

I've always wanted a swollen pickle/pork loin but haven't been able to afford it. Maybe I should bite the bullet and go for the way huge!

Since the beginning of my fuzz search I have been tossing up between el grande and swollen pickle. The bass big muff does not get a lot of love around here, so I have been turned off them a bit, although am open to anything.

I will only be looking at new units, due to the fact I live in Australia and if I'm buying from the US it is much easier.

Choke slam, there is a new mxr pedal coming out next year called the bass fuzz deluxe, so I'm tossing up whether to wait for a listen.

I'm pretty sure the swollen pickle is a muff circuit variant but offers more tweakbility. I had the BBM and liked it, different tastes are why there is more than one type of fuzz pedal.
