Jude Cole - Back to School: Who played bass on that track?

Hi everyone, it's sort of my first post here. I did have an account around 20 years ago but those credentials are long forgotten.

Anyway, I was wondering, who played bass on Jude Cole's Back to School? I heard somewhere it might've been Pino Palladino but can't find anything to corroborate that. Judging by the sound it might be the case.

Back To School was released in June, '86, Cole's first solo album came out the following year, and he is credited with bass on that. Cole didn't write the movie tune, though.
