A few months ago my wife and I moved into our own home after many years of renting. I now have a dedicated room for my project studio. This cover is the first complete song done in my new space.
It's a cover of of the Slave track Just A Touch Of Love. I played the bass drums keys and all the rest of the parts. (Slowly, chord by chord, note by note lol) I played the drums to the original and recorded only the midi. Then looped it in the different sections.
My friend Roger Vaughn did all the backing and lead vocals. This is a learn by doing effort, neither of us are pro's and as far as recording goes, I'm a fly by the seat of the pants guy. I've been honing my skill set over the last 4-5 years.

The bass is pretty much what the mic got off the speaker, a little EQ but not a lot. The vox are using Male Vox 3 preset on the studio live with a little ambient verb and a slap back delay.
Everything is pretty natural, we wanted a live feel even though it's totally not live. Hope ya like it, we had a blast making it and using all the toys.
