Yes it is. I LOVE that preamp box!!! It goes to every gig, rehearsal or jam session that I do. I actually don't use my MB2 preamp, I run my Tone Hammer through the effects send and it sounds killin'!!!!

Yes there are some good deals to be had if you're patient. You can get used quality, great conditioned gear for a steal. I re-read your last post and got it mixed up. Its an Aguilar Tone Hammer Preamp/DI/Distortion box. The EQ is basically a Aguilar AG 500 preamp in a box. Sounds great, IMO. I've gone through a lot of gear these past 2 years but I've never been able to give up the Tone Hammer, it just sounds too good.
