For a long time I had to have a MIA P bass had a couple. A few weeks ago I traded the only one I had left on a nice 70's Gibson j-45 acoustic guitar
Yeah I know but I play both.
Now its dawned on me I am down to 3 Squiers and 1 MIM. The MIM is modded with all MIA pups, bridge, pots, guard and is nice but its those early 80's SQ Squiers I'm hooked on. My 83' SQ P bass is so light and sounds so great I don't miss the heavier 78' walnut P. I picked up a 84' SQ Bullet with a sick maple neck a few weeks ago and it sings.
To top them off I found a 97' Squier Vista Musicmaster SS in surf green. Two Squiers in the last month and 2 good ones.
Anyone else a multi- Squier only player. I'm proud to be and for those not knowing or understanding the SQ series having one of those will make you not miss a vintage MIA Fender.
