Just got a Peavey Max Bass 700 for 100$

.....Keep or Sell?
Its my first bass head, but I dont even have cabs yet.

Im in one of those quandry's were I dont know if Id find a reason to use it now that I have it, versus just selling it

It's a keeper in my book. Enjoy it for a long time, and then sell it...it'll still be working.

Decent bass head, and a decent deal. Bad news is that Peavey gear used doesn't bring much. IMO you should save up for a cab, then rock it. Selling it might get you a few bucks more than you paid, but you'll spend more than you make to replace it.

I believe the max 700 is just a newer version of the "Firebass" which is held in fairly high regard. It runs @ 2ohms which is pretty rare nowadays, definitely keep it you'll want it.
