If the J-bridge pickup is a single coil, I recommend purchasing a split-coil humbucking J pickup to further reduce hum and noise. Fender's own version will work well. If you want to spend a few more $$$, DiMarzio Area J or UltraJazz, Fralin, or Aguilar will all work.
