What makes you think that? I've said a few times in this thread that I've got a powered 15 underneath. It's a pretty rare cab/amp from Ashdown. I've never seen another one on the net.

Saw that puppy on TradeMe - glad it went to someone who appreciates sound! I saw it and thought 'DAMN' that thing could get some windows shaking!

Yep, it's a 15 with one of the two power amps in an ABM 800 watt head. It's got an internal crossover so it's only handling the frequencies below 160hz.
I'll post it as soon as I sell my combo and sort out a head for it.

I've only had the chance to play it with the sub once and it was at the guys place I bought it from when I first checked it out. This Thursday will be my first chance to try both cabs out so it'll be the 410, the powered 15 and my 400watt Bassmaster 15" combo driving the thing! I'mve got my first gig with it in Wellington next Tuesday so I'll post a review after. Can't wait!

If so, kit will be great looking and great sounding.
IMO second only to a YBA200 and a Beri NV610.

YBA's are great IMO, I'll have one by the fall, since TE V6's are impossible to find let alone V8's.

then soon to be:-
YBA200 + Berg NV610 for "vintage but adaptable" gigs.

It is the matching cab and I love it. I keep the tweeter off and I don't cut the mids on my EQ and I get killer tone. Huge, and gritty with my rics. 10's and 15's is where it is at.
The white trim is actually plain white wire VERY carefully applied. I am pretty sure the aesthetic changes improved the tone.
I also added the casters (it had rubber feet). Probably the smartest thing I ever did... makes moving much easier and some would argue that casters improve consistency of stage sound.

Sounds like they'll both be pretty amazing rigs!!! We all want a V8 aye. Dreams are free and it seems the YBAs don't cost too much more than that.

Mmmm... mmmm... mmmm.... so nice! I'll definately be adding that white trim to mine when I get it if you don't mind. Those Rics are beautiful. Your whole set up has a great vintage vibe!

live is where this amp shines... it is a shadow of it's full potentail at bedroom volumes (warm sounding but not much growl or mids). Jam/gig volumes let the amp/cab really breath, and the mids will roar.
I often get compliments on my nice gritty tone (that is how I EQ it) when I use this amp with my rics. It cuts really well... punch of the 10's and big warm sound of the 15, and shimmer of the tweeter if you want it.
Edit: since I got this amp/cab I have had to be mindful to not overpower my band... maybe it cuts too well

If traynor did the piping themselves they would sell even more of these already great amps. It goes a long way to creating a classy Hiwatt/ampeg look.
I also love my whole setup... passive rics/jazz/longhorn + tube just sounds killer. I go for a slightly modern tube tone, and I like the vintage style without all the vintage upkeep hassle. Volume/tone/hot looks - this is the rig for my needs. The only thing tweeking my interest at the moment is an 8x8.

I got my entire rig for 1300$ can + tax. It has tone that can match the best of them.
