....Just wow

Exactly. I spent hours a day setting basses/guitars up in every price range to be sure they were ready for the public when I was in the business. Not seeing that level of commitment or profinciency in many places today. Those new to music are the ones missing out. "Gee, maybe there's an App to fix that..."

Um, no.

Oy - don't get me started. Everything must be cheap - or free - and must happen NOW.

Kids these days...

Are people really that naive to not understand how online markets work? That Lakland is clearly being sold from Music123. Win win for both. Music123 gets additional exposure while Walmart gets a hosting fee. Nothing new at all.

Best Buy used to sell instruments in-store and online as an actual dealer. That was a terrible experiment for them.

But they don't have cars.

I buy some gear through Walmart, mostly because of their return policy, but also because they're 3 miles from home
Music123 has supplied me with an amp stand and a tuner via Walmart & the odd thing was the price through Walmart was cheaper than buying direct from Music123
AFAIK Music123, GC, & Musician's Friend are all the same place at the corporate level
