Keep breaking G string's:(

So about 6 week's ago I bought a packet of Elixir Nano web ultra light gauge string's .40-.95. Read a lot of good thing's about them so I decided to give them ago, Sent my MMSR away with them to a highly rated local Luthier to get set up. Few days later I get my bass back and try them out, Sounded great, tension made them very easy to play, I had a blast with them playing a weekend of gigs and then the following week the G string snapped during a practice session first thought was damn that was £11.
Mailed Elixir told them the story and they sent me another packet for free which was great of them, but before i got the packet I had more gigs coming up which i couldn't wait for another set and not wanting to have 3 great sound strings and one old dead G i purchased another set of Elixirs(figured why not, they are sending me another packet and it was probably just a faulty G).
So new G goes on and another weekend of gigs all went well then the following weekend the G string snaps at a gig! I received the replacement pack during the week so I stuck on the G from this the third pack of Elixir string's.
Today the third G string has snapped. 10 days or so after putting it on. they all lasted this long, the remaining 3 troopers still sound fantastic.
So my question after all of that is has anyone got any suggestions why this could be happening? its never happened to me before especially in such quick succession.I only have 2 or 3 string's break in a whole year normally. I've checked the saddle, frets and had plenty of string wrapped around the peg. I do play a bit of slap but I don't hit the strings too hard, has any one else had Elixirs break multiple times? They are really expensive to be buying I was hoping for a solid 6months-year or more out of them before tone would be slipping and indeed I can't complain about the remaining strings yet but them snapping every 10 days i cant afford to keep replacing them at this rate!

Where exactly are the breaking? I've been using Elixirs since 2007 and only had one string break. Either something is going on with the bridge,or you need to go to a heavier set.

They are breaking right down at the bridge just behind the saddles

You didn't indicate if the string is breaking at the bridge. If so, and the luthier put on a new bridge - that'll likely be your culprit. May just want to put your finger on the bridge and see if you can feel anything that might reduce the life of your strings. I used just a metal file on my bridge to remove an imperfection and voila - no more broken strings.

what music and techniques are you using?

I play rock,funk and country mostly, fingerstyle and slapping only two techniques i use ( bit of tapping for country music a night in hell)

Would using a thicker set of strings actually make a difference? if the saddle was fine?

no hardware was changed just the strings and intonation. The last string I broke before this was a D string, no G for a long time, only since i moved to the Elixirs, I used the same gauge for previous brands as well.

ive got the same problem, I however am using dairidareio 50-105 gage strings and the G keeps breaking rite behind the saddle. or at the saddle, not sure on that. only had them on a month and it broke, same with before, had factory strings on and the G broke, all both while doing bends. not real hard bends either. just broke.
how do you check the saddle for bers?

I play really hard and do lots of bends, some slap, etc. and have not broken a string in over 10 years.... and I play a lot.

Nut or bridge saddles are the only possible culprits. Of course, the odd string will just snap due to a flaw, but IME that is super rare.

Most likely a burr on the saddle as others have said.

Take the broken string and use it like dental floss pulling it back and forth over the saddle notch to burnish it, then if you have a burr on the string anchor, then as you pull the string through it might be scuffing the string so take the broken string and burnish the notch or hole in the anchor of the bridge as well.
