KL basses are less known than Fodera & Sadowsky, but his basses are in no way less wonderful. I am sure this is an excellent instrument!

No, it is 35" but Ken's neck are so comfortable I was always switching between 34" and 35" on it.

Good grief. That thing takes my breath. Ken has, in my eyes, the most beautifully-designed basses on this planet. I would rather be hung from my toenails, than get rid of a bass like that. Shame on you, Dan.

I think I owned this bass for a while. If it's the one I remember, it's a killer. I can't imagine there are that many KL's out there in this color -- so I suspect it's the one I remember.

It always haunted me that I didn't keep it. Someone will love this bass.

Yes, but I don't know what the radii are. The neck is 1 7/8" at the nut and 3/4" spacing at the bridge. I am sorry to see it go but I just got a Fodera and they sound a lot the same - tiny bit more mid-range on the Fodera with the EQ flat on both. After adjusting the EQ you could not tell them apart.

9.4 Lbs - I did not weigh the case but it is pretty lightweight but protective. Hard foam fitted to the shape of the bass and it has a fabric cover with a nice-sized pocket.

Back from vacation bump - Arizona was beautiful and Sedona was amazing, as always.

I simply cannot believe this bass is still here. I'm seriously beginning to think no one truly, actually knows about these works of functional art. Such a shame.

Bizarre that this is still here, I'd love to have one of these onboard. Any trade interest for a Skjold LP5? IMG_7377.jpg
