okay, so JT spilled the beans on the Ritter... I guess I can give up one of my surprises. I think less than 10 people "know" about this one - and it's been in the works since November 2003. I'll post some specs tomorrow but here's the pics. Should be finished within the next month or two - I thought this would be the last of my customs to finish and turns out it may just be the first.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE HIDEOUS CLAW.

  3. Incredible, Jean!! That is an absolute masterpiece. A KL ERB!! Very cool stuff.

  4. wow! that is thick as hell, the B/F# strings seem unacessable though, especialy with the changing angle of the frets and the top and bottom of the neck

  5. Beautiful piece of work !!

One day I just might have to try a KL.

So if you "bop" the bass on the headstock, does an egg drop out of the input jack? :smug:

LoL... it also has the ability to fly off the edge of the world and magicly find it self on the other side of said world. Though I really dig this theme you got goin... Ya know I was a big fan of Dig-Dug in my hey-day.

Do you have enough arcade games left in your basement for your other basses? :rollno: :D :D

Idunno, but without the strings on this huge board destroys the image of the sexy sleek, slender contours of a bass... and no, I play a 6-er, but I still think this looks a bit awkward and toomuch of a board... it might as well be called the "Fat Lady"... IMO, of course...

  10. Wow, that looks stunning :D

How many other arcade machines you have? We going to see a bass with Space Invaders fret markers?
How long until its gets finished? Would love to hear some samples.

I must have issues when it's not the 11 that looks funny, but it's the 4 string that looks all odd and out of place.

     That is truly sick! I love it.

What are you having for the electronics? I heard that Glock is making an onboard pre. What are the scale lengths for the lowest and highest strings?
