Just wondering if you could give your thoughts.
I have a Ken Smith bass and usually play it run active. But the other night I was having sound issues so thought to change to passive to rule out battery etc. When pulling out the active passive knob, a loud bang/pop came through the PA. I hadn't noticed this before.
I have other active/passive basses and they don't do this, at least not as loud.
I asked Ken, but have had no reply.
So, is this normal, or possibly a battery, dirty pot issue? Or something else?
And fixes please.
