Anyone know about these? I know that he makes a great guitar pre, but what about bass pre's? I actually only heard of these last night.

+1. I like arbitrary's Kern a lot, too. IMHO, a tighter bass than the Alembic, with clarity throughout the frequency range. Not sterile like the Aguilar either. Fantastic tone.
