I've liked these ever since they came out. They're on my list of models to check out when the time comes for a new car. You got the 4 or the V6?
I got the 4 which is still a healthy 300HP. It's a daily so like the better MPG. That said it really moves, drives so smooth even at 90mph!

Yeah, I thought it was a weird move when Kia made the 4 have 300hp and kind of remove the incentive to go for the 6. If I ever look at them I'm personally going to look at V6s because my brain can't get over the "you want the bigger engine, you want the more power" thing, and this would likely be a turnpike cruiser for visiting family on the other side of the state. But I can't deny the later generation 4s are compelling.
Well there are a few goodies you don't get with the 4 like a Limited Slip and Electronically Controlled Suspension. Also some interior goodies like the ambient lighting and ventilated heats.
Mine is the Apex Edition so it includes the Brembo brakes and carbon fiber interior like the V6 version.
I have a '23 RWD Stinger GT2. Love this car. My car before it... a '19 GT2. When I decided to replace the aging '19, I narrowed it down to a TLX Type-S, M440i, and S5. All things considered, I felt the Stinger was the best option. I still do. This car get crapped on a lot because it's a Kia... but the Stinger is a different animal from other Kias. They poached designers from both Audi and BMW to design this car, and I think the European influence is very obvious. The V6 RWD is extremely fun to drive. Turn off traction and stability control, and it's downright dangerous in the RWD one. Also, the thing is overflowing with tech, compared to most other cars. Lastly, they are generally pretty bulletproof. Which is also evidenced by their warranty, which is unmatched. Of the two of mine, I racked up about 40k miles, and I haven't had a single issue in either. My '19 replaced a Infiniti Q50, which was an absolute reliability nightmare. You couldn't pay me to ever buy another Nissan product. That car was absolute trash. And if you peruse some Q50/60 FB groups, you'll see I am far from alone in that sentiment.
Mine is basically my daily and gear hauler. But a fun daily for sure. Although not my main fun car. This is… photo from Tail of the Dragon.
