Request Killing Time by City and Colour

I've been really digging C&C's 2015 album If I Should Go Before You, but this one song in particular I find the bass line suuuper groovy. I'm still relatively new to playing bass and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with making a tab for this song. I seriously need it in my life.

Cheers!

Hey! Glad to know there's another Dallas Green fan around here :)
I normally jam his songs on guitar, and I also love this album. If I have time this week I will give it a listen. They're generally pretty simple minor blues based (pentatonic) patterns.

I've actually been thinking of picking up an acoustic so that I can learn some more Dallas Green songs. I'm going through a bit of a phase right now with him lol. Happens every couple of years. In regards to Killing Time, thanks for the reply! I figured it probably isn't anything crazy, but I'm so new to playing music in general that i just don't have an ear for it. Have a good week man, looking forward to hearing from you.

Also, I hope you'll be OK with a "basic jist" lesson. The player is following a basic structure but is winging it in many places, so each phrase may not be identical to the last. What I will do is provide you with a template for playing the basic lines, and some of the extensions so you can play with it. It won't be real-time note-for-note accurate.

That's cool with me. I mainly wanted to learn this bass line because it would be fun to just jam with. Once I get the jist I'm sure that I could develop it further if I tried. I didn't really have any expectations when I posted on here, so whatever help I can get would be appreciated.
