Knucklehead Strings are back...

I did before they went boobies up. I remember liking them...but can't remember the sound completely. Definitely gonna pick up a set and try them out. Their vibe is too cool not to at least give them a try.

I remember using them once upon a time. Picked them up solely on the packaging. I'll be trying one of their new sets, for sure.

I think they are an awesome company. So many companies are all stuck up, tightly wrapped. I think its amazing how these guys look like they are just having fun doing what they love. That is the way it should be. I'm ordering a set now.

Hey,
At some point last year, I found Knucklehead Doublewides online, as a 2-for-1 type of deal, grabbed some because I had heard good things about the 'mid voicing' of these. Put one of the sets on my Jag, immediately noticed that the tension on the A string was off....it was flappin' against the fretboard like crazy. Same thing with the A in the second set!!! No amount of action or intone would fix (In desperation, I tried everything I could think of). E-mailed the company, they never replied.
That said, the strings that behaved themselves sounded good, lasted pretty long. Does this help?
