Korean Epi LP Standard, Worth getting?

Hey all,

Recently i have stumbled across an Epi LP Standard Bass, Black, Chrome pickups, 4 tuning bots, cream binding, nice bass.
It comes with a raggered hard case, but the bass is on the other hand really, really tidy.
It's Korean made which caught my attention but i don't recall the year 100%.. 04 i THINK.

Anyhow, It's $550 Australian.
Would this be worth it?
I've seen them go for $450US, and since prices are a bit steeper here in Australia it seems somewhat reasonable. Played and sounded really nice, just wondering the price/rarity of these things.

If you played and liked it, I'd say go for it mate. I bought mine of e-bay for it's looks and while it's a nice enough functional bass it's really just a beater compared to my 07' Gibson Les Paul Double cut $ bass. I'd love an LPB 3 Standard with a toggle but those are about a grand more in most cases compared to the Epi.

I would only consider it if I could play it first. I have seen some of those Epi's be fantastic instruments and others - not so much.

They definitely look cool! But for me playability is paramount.
