Krist Novoselic with a Warwick?

I was watching this thing on nirvana and they were showing pics of nirvana in the studio (I think this was for the nevermind album) and I saw a pic of Krist with what looked to be a 5er Corvette. Of course I wasn't recording it so I couldnt rewind to check again.

Anybody know about this?

back when they released that self-titled "best of" with the song "you know you're right" on it, there's a picture in the liner notes with Krist playing a 4-string warwick dolphin.

See from all I had heard he used the tbird and the RD bass in the studio and that ibby jazz and the grabber/RD live.

Dude check out live at reading he only uses the t-bird and the rd in the whole concert, well i believe so, vids on youtube of the whole thing btw.

There was a discussion about this at another forum and the word was that when Nirvana went to the Netherlands they stopped in for a radio session and the only bass the station had was a Warwick Dolphin so that's what he used. Here's the photo from that session.

Maybe its just me, but I think a lot of stuff is recorded with different basses or even bassist that play it live. The studio is very unforgiving, you gotta come correct no SX when Fender tone is needed.

"Warwick Dolphin
Played in Holland at the 2 Meter Sessie; the band used instruments supplied by the studio, as their own gear was being set up for a concert later that evening."

Plus, that photo can't be from the Nevermind sessions, as the room they're in looks nothing like the recording room of Sound City studios where it was recorded. It's far too small.

Is that Warwick pic inside InUtero? I remember seeing it when I was younger and thinking it was cool. Warwicks were unique then.
