For sale is my 1990 FCS Kubicki Ex Factor, one of only a few made in this rare raspberry finish. Unlike most examples from the Fender Custom Shop era, it boasts the famous Kubicki 18v preamp rather than the Fender 9v version. You'll also love the ergonomic design, wealth of tonal options in active and passive settings, and comfortable 32" scale (36" on the E-string when the patented D-extender clamp is enabled). Philip Kubicki really was a genius.
This wonderful Factor is unusually clean, with no big scratches and only one, barely noticeable nick through the finish, pictured.
To me, these are the perfect basses. This one has zero crackle in the electronics; its neck is straight, the frets in excellent shape, and the overall condition way cleaner than most. The action is nice and low and could get lower.
Comes with hard shell case, also in really great shape, and retro Kubicki handbook. Looking for 2500. Will eat full shipping cost within Canada and half the shipping for CONUS.
