image1.jpeg I just picked this up, but now of course the financial defecation has hit the oscillating rotary of life, and now I have to move something...

Ultra rare Key Factor 5 from Phil Kubicki in tobacco-ish burst, very good condition considering it's over 25 years old now. A couple of indentions in the finish on the front which I've done my best to photograph, standard pickup cover rash, and some minor scratching around the control knobs. Blessedly free of buckle rash on the back. Neck is in fantastic shape front and back. No dings on the bottom, which happens to these a lot simply because you can easily lean them against a wall without a stand.

Sounds like a Factor with the 18v pre.. frets are in good nick, machine heads are smooth. No static in the jack or pots.

Comes with a Gator style nylon shell case.

$2250+shipping and insurance via FedEx Ground.

no trades. If you need more/info pics, ask in the thread or PM me. Thanks.

Wow I didn’t even know these five string versions of the Kubicki even existed until I saw one for sale on here a couple weeks ago. Now this is the second one!

Wish I had the funds to buy it, this probably won’t last long.

What is the string spacing at the bridge?

I recognize that avatar pic and name. Holy sheet man you are a killer bassist! Good luck with the bass sale.

Does this have an option to bypass active electronics? On some of my basses I've had a volume push-pull switch that allows one to be in active of passive mode.

There's a 6-way switch. I think there are three active modes, two passive, and one is mute.
