...just a shout out to Kiesel. I received my custom Amos Williams headless 5er last week and was floored by all aspects of it....build quality, feel, tone, looks....the complete package. I have owned a lot of boutique customs and this one gives up nothing to 'em. I am even toying with selling my 7.5 lb Alleva Coppolo LM5, which is now sitting idle most days! Happy Friday :)

.....here you go....Amos Williams 5er...alder/maple/chambered body with blk limba top, maple fb, blocks, <8 lbs, 34”/19mm. The high output HB in the sweet spot is thick but articulate....sounds great in passive mode but the range/power of the 18V preamp (cut and boost) is very wide/powerful....also a very flattish (14" radius) board. Lovin' this bass. Sorry for the washed out pics......they looked OK on my phone but on my 'puter screen seem to do more hiding than revealing.

Beautiful bass lomo!

Nice looking. I am contemplating pulling the trigger on a Vader 5 string headless. I think i will just go standard build as I am clueless about options. I am partial to the neck on my Steinberger Synapse but that is not wood. I also used to love my Hohner Jack which I believe was walnut.
I see they have a short scale option so I am pondering that version.

Does anybody have an exp. with their short scales?

TY

That Kiesel looks like it could be the elusive, often sought after ... BEST BASS FOR METAL.
Pickup and pickup position seem capable of yielding an aggressive tone and to my humble eye,
the form of the body has a mix of Italian sports car vs. American muscle car that's sleek, yet edgy, it just yells prog metal.
