I finally (after 12 years) decided to try a set of La Bella 760FL's to replace my Thomastik JF344's on my Tele Bass. Thought I'd see what they're all about.

WOW!

Nice slightly tighter feel (easier to play on my right hand). Tone is thicker, less twangy. Looking forward to how these will sound in a week or two.
Many thanks to the folks who hyped these.

All in all..... I'm really digging em!!

Big City Strings seems to have the best price on them as well.

Thanks to me? Well you're welcome but did I suggest LaBellas to you? Sorry but I can't remember doing so...I don't think I've ever even owned a set. Maybe someone else in a thread I posted in did, though.

In either case, after a few days I miss the Thomastiks. I'm glad I got to try the La Bellas though.
