Labella Deep Talkin Flats

I had a new set for years and was afraid to put them on because of the gauges so, I gave them to a friend, who put them on a cheap bass and, they sound great. They are warm sounding and cut through the mix very well.

In the life of any bassist there comes a time when he's through screwing around with exotic basses, roundwound strings and active controls, and he wants to go back to the roots of bass, so then it's time for La Bella flats on a P-Bass. Played alone they don't sound all that great, but play them in a band context, and it damn near becomes a religious experience! Many a bassist has walked out of a gig after playing a P with La Bellas on it with a far away stare in his eyes, saying "My God, I never knew it could be so good!"

It's the only thing I'll ever play for the rest of my life - my trusty P-Bass with La Bella 760FMs on it!
