So I bought these extra long scale strings, opened them and realized I really needs standard scale length. Strings are brand new never used $25.00 US shipped to the lower 48.***SOLD***

Short scale were ordered before I realized my short scale needs medium scale strings...there is a lesson here kids do some research before you buy LOL. $35.00 US shipped to the lower 48.

I guess the difference being the long scale is for Full Scale basses and the extra long scale would be for Long Scale basses. Something different terminology?

Generally “Extra Long” means anything 35” or over, “Long Scale” is 34”, “Medium” is 32”, “Short” is 30” (though lots of basses with short scales require extra length behind the bridge so “Short Scale” strings aren’t totally consistent)
