Labella DTF,s on a Peavy Millinium question please .

Just picked up a used millinium 4 string bass, I noticed it has a really skinny neck compared to some I have played , will it be ok to put on the Labella Light gauge flats , or should I go to the Extra Lights ? Was worried about it being safe with the tension , Thanks .

Based on my experience, I would guesstimate the total pulling weight of the La Bella 760FL (43-60-82-104) to be 175-185 lbs. For comparison, the GHS Boomers 45-65-85-105 weigh in at 185 lbs.

"Skinny" doesn't necessarily mean "wimpy".
