What is a 44-07?
It has the body of the 44-94 but with two Chi-Sonics. -07 is because the first one came in 2007.

@Mr Matt that is a stunner like Doug’s. How did the Audere pre compare to the stock LH3 pre? That is gorgeous.I haven't posted this in a while, my 44-07 with an Audere Classic 4 band made in 2009, these humbucker Chi's rule! This took forever to get, but worth the wait.

Yes, Doug, Marcel and I were all there for that event. A gorgeous bass.
Def seafoam. In the old video on my phone it looked metallic for some reason
There's also a goofy myth that the Korean Skylines are superior to Indonesian ones. I can confirm this is patently false. My Skyline J Sonic is every bit as good as my very early Skyline 5501.This is an urban legend that has been debunked in the past but seems to come back. We need to kill it today.
55-60s and DJ5s both have the same pickup spacing, Approximately 3.6" apart. Here are crappy pics I just took for confirmation.

Wow, that was a treat. Clinic with a small group, great.Yes, Doug, Marcel and I were all there for that event. A gorgeous bass.
Having had a few of both I concur. I couldn't ID any difference or deficiencies with either over the other. There's also a goofy myth that the Korean Skylines are superior to Indonesian ones. I can confirm this is patently false. My Skyline J Sonic is every bit as good as my very early Skyline 5501.
That's gorgeous! I've always loved Lakland's quilt maple blue finishes, it looks like you can go swimming in that top. What does the switch do on the pre-amp?
