What is a 44-07?

It has the body of the 44-94 but with two Chi-Sonics. -07 is because the first one came in 2007.

Also the year of the Chi-Sonic's release. Lakland pickup development was very steady around this time--the LH-3 system in 2005, jazz pickups in '06, and the P pickup in '07.

That's gorgeous! I've always loved Lakland's quilt maple blue finishes, it looks like you can go swimming in that top. What does the switch do on the pre-amp?

This is an urban legend that has been debunked in the past but seems to come back. We need to kill it today.

55-60s and DJ5s both have the same pickup spacing, Approximately 3.6" apart. Here are crappy pics I just took for confirmation.

There's also a goofy myth that the Korean Skylines are superior to Indonesian ones. I can confirm this is patently false. My Skyline J Sonic is every bit as good as my very early Skyline 5501.

There's also a goofy myth that the Korean Skylines are superior to Indonesian ones. I can confirm this is patently false. My Skyline J Sonic is every bit as good as my very early Skyline 5501.

Having had a few of both I concur. I couldn't ID any difference or deficiencies with either over the other.

Not for the preamp, that's for single coil/dual coil on the pickups.
