Lakland Pickups

So has anyone played them and what did you think? How are they in relation to the Barts they're replacing?

Well as far Lakland pups in a Lakland bass. At the NYC GTG Dan brought a couple of basses with the new electronics and I can say that they are a different sound for sure.

The Lakland pups are much more aggressive. The Barts are much smoother, and mellow sounding. I prefer the Lakland pups and preamp. I'm sorry I can't say more, but I only played one of the I think 3 basses he brought with the new pre/pups for about 5 minutes. There was a line...

The Lakland pickups sounded like they had a bigger bottom and were warmer then the barts to me.
