Update, price drop! Selling my Lakland 5, Korean made with low action and a Sweet fingerboard. Quilted maple sunburst top. I can’t remember what year I purchased but it was one of the early ones and I’m the only owner. I’ll try and post the serial #. Great gigging bass, minor wear on the fingerboard and some little dings and surface scratching on back. Plays killer, no buzzes or any other issues. All original electronics with the Bartolini pickup set. Buyer pays shipping. I’ll throw in a new pair of strings and ship in a soft case in a nice box. Thanks, Geoff
I Guess this is the first year? Serial# 02020912. Man, have you ever started selling something and then you pick it up and think, man this is bad ass, I should keep it. Haha. I have five 5 strings. I should prolly pare it down.
I would buy it in a heartbeat if I needed. Just got a new Yamaha 5 bolt-on. Use to own this model. Great basses.
man, that thing is gorgeous! I have a USA 55-94 Deluxe at one point and loved it, but after a while realized that I'm really a 4 string guy and sold it. BUT, the Barts sounded amazing and the neck was super comfortable...oh well. GLWTS
I send him a pm about this several days ago. Not sure if he got it. It's very nice no matter the weight but I do prefer lighter.
I have a 2003 55-01D 3tsb with a rosewood fingerboard. Use it a lot. Folks, these early MIK Skylines were compared to the USA made Laklands, and found to very nearly their equal by Bass Player magazine back in 2003. This deal won't last long. GLWTS!
