$1950 OBO shipped within North America, won't ship outside of there, and not interested in trades. This Lakland Bob Glaub (44-64 is new name) is the best Precision-style Bass you can buy. Period. This has been my main player for about a year. With recent change in bands, I'm playing more fretless and 5-string these days, so this one is not getting played much. Here are some of the features of the instrument: 1) Neck (1.75" at the nut) has the standard Lakland bare wood with Oil/Wax treatment. Nice stripey Rosewood fretboard with birdseye maple dots. Among the best feeling necks in the business. 2) Original Hanson/Lakland P-bass pickup was replaced with a brand-new Lollar pickup. Very vintage-correct. Passive. Has a pickup cover (shown in one of the pics. Comes with 2 hand-made wooden barrel knobs (along with original chrome knobs). I liked the wooden ones. 3) Tort pick guard and the rest of the bass has seen its share of play, but nothing that affects playability. 4) Strung with Ernie Ball cobalt flat wound strings 45-105 and Dunlop strap locks 5) The bass weighs 8 lbs 13 oz on my digital scale, and balances very well 6) will ship in a G&G black tolex hard shell woodie case, black fur inside. Bass has been played, for sure, but nothing I would call a ding, minor player wear only, frets still in very good shape. Paypal preferred.
Being hard core Fender P player I must say that Bob Gloub I used to have was THE BEST vintage sounding P that my untalented persona had privilege to play.
