as found here Invalid Link Removed
its 600€
wondering how it holds up on the road/in the air and how comfortable it is to wheel around.. planning to put a hybrid in there.

In the picture it doesn't look like there is much room or padding between the neck joint and the bottom of the bass.

They look like fairly standard flight cases used for scientific instruments and the like. These typically come with foam rubber cushioning that you can easily customize for the contents. Before I paid that kind of money, I would look into finding the price of buying suitable sized cases and fitting the foam to my bass rather than a generic bass shape.

These style of flight cases can be very rugged and protective. I have shipped delicate scientific equipment in them hundreds of times, using y a number of carriers without incident. My preferred brand is Pelican. I have no experience shipping a bass in them however.

yes pelicase would be nice, I have several of their smaller boxes and a trolley suitcase.
but they are heavy. and I haven´t seen one that would fit a bass body..

for me to make this work it must be under the overweight on airplane, so including bass below 23kg.

I'm soo interested in finding a case for my bass body that doesnt cost an arm and a leg and doesnt weigh too much. A polystyrene case would be good, but I'm not aware of any models available on the market. I was in contact with a chinese manufactorer, but they didnt make custom cases for private persons.
