LB 100

I am a amatuer bassist. I mainly play guitar but dabble in the bass playing just for fun. I was talking with a guy at work who found out i play guitar and mentioned he had a bass in his basement that he never plays. well a year has gone by and he called me the other day and wants to get it out of his house. It's a G & L LB100. He bought it when he was single and young and took a couple of lessons than quit. He wants $200 out of it. is that a good deal? I see some on ebay for alot more than that but cant find a LB 100. It says it was made in USA. and he claims it is about 10-12 years old. The truss rod needs a little tweeking but other that it seems in great shape. I have an acoustic bass that i mess around with and am just trying to decide if I need another one. If it is worth a lot more I may just get it and sell it. Thanks, bwhitty

Buy it without hesitation. $200 is an unbelievable price. These things are every bit the equal of today's MIA Fender P. Better, IMO.

Now that is a question we cant answer unless youre a supporting member. Plus, if youre looking into getting into bass, this is a great deal for a great instrument.

black with a white pick guard. I think it was natural. not sure of the kind.

I have my acoustic bass and would rather get a new pedal board for my guitar than keep the g and l i think
