Lead Bass...? Yes please :)

Love my Stang! Thank you!

This was my orange Mustang. Just gave it to my best friend, for his kid.

@PUREJOYPEOPLE - fantastic! I have a quick question about your board - how do you like Soul Pog? I want to run one with a Ram’s Head Muff in the loop (so Octave > Muff > Soul Food). What kind of good/bad experiences have you had? Does it track as well as the others?

I have a bass with “guitar” octave setup, and I am looking to make it as simple as possible.

Thanks!

The Soul Pog is rad. One pedal, two functions. So anytime I see that, I am interested. In this case, both of the functions are a big part of what the bass sound is. The Soul side is a great 'dirty' sound for that pick bass thing. It can be distorted a bunch more than we use it but if I want more distortion I might opt for a fuzz. Have not quite had the need for that just yet. The POG side puts a little SUB in the bass sound and adds for additional tone. Sorta 'Rage Against the Machine' octave bass sounding tone, ya know? Can totally be done with separate pedals but this one was just what we needed. I will add that if you crank the octave you're going to lose the use of the lower notes on the low string (wont track well). So, I use another octave pedal when I want that super SUB ;)

Wow! That was fan-frickin'-tastic! I've been trying to check out more bass & drum duos and you guys are just terrific! Not gonna lie, I've been avoiding this thread because of the title(my bad), but I kept seeing it at the top so I decided to check it out. REALLY glad I did! Definitely gonna be following your progress. Don't ever stop!

Your drummer rocks, too!
